Mexico to Canada Ride at the Flying Bee
July 2009
Tom and Pat Seay along with a diverse group of about 45 people from all over the United States stopped at the Flying Bee Ranch in July of 2009. Their goal was to ride their horses from Mexico to Canada. While at the ranch they participated in trail rides, the dedication of a homestead site, a Pony Express reenactment, and a cook-out with entertainment by Del Shield and "Gabe" Gabriel. Before heading north towards Canada many of the group rode in the Oregon Trail Days Parade in Gering.
